Day 1: Arrival and Pickup from Nairobi Airport

Njia African Adventure staff in our Uniforms holding your team name will Pick you up from Airport in Nairobi and drive directly to the Hotel

Late afternoon training session followed by first team dinner and a big welcome to Africa organized, it will be graced with best of African traditions, introductions and Briefing on how the week will be moving

Day 2: Community coaching

Chilled breakfast as you set your mind to a very important day for the tour where you will leave an impact in the community. After your breakfast head for a drive through the city Centre and depending on numbers. We will split into different groups that will visit the schools, and age grade programs around Nairobi. Among the programs to visit include a visit to Shamas Rugby foundation, a sport for development organization. That uses rugby to promote the holistic development of underprivileged children and youth. So the team will have an opportunity to have exchange programs with the foundation through offering coaching education. Skill training with the children for the foundation and also coaching in schools around Nairobi.

All groups will meet for Lunch and back to the hotel for relaxation and an evening BBQ pool party

Day 4: Rugby training and Nairobi National park 

Breakfast will be ready for the team and the Morning will be yours for team training activities and if the team opt to choose Gym for strength and Conditioning will be accessible if need or Pitch work and training.

After Lunch we get on road for a 1 hr. drive to Ololo Safari Lodge in Nairobi National Park.   The lodge is a mere 45-minute drive through the park from Nairobi yet the lodge’s secluded location feels like a world away. Set on a productive 20 acre working farm, Ololo offers the joys of delicious ‘paddock to plate’ fresh ingredients. With our established and secluded gardens, guests are able to settle in and soak up a unique safari experience.

Wildlife is right on our doorstep and all can enjoy breathtaking views over the national park, to the famed Ngong Hills in the west, sundowner in hand. Or you may like to wile the hours away at the lodge by the pool, adventure on a safari into the park, take a tour of the Ololo Farm or perhaps an excursion with us into historic Karen.

In the evening the team will sit by the fire-pit in the garden or cozy up to the safari Lodge blazing fireplace for the evening

Day 5: Nairobi National park 

wakeup to the sounds of wildlife and the bird life at the lodge then head for a morning game drives into the only national park in the world on the edge of a capital city. Nairobi National Park is a surprise package and many of these birds and animals. from the game drive will visit the renowned Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage without having to exit the national park. Nairobi National Park has a good variety of wildlife. Apart from elephants, most big safari animals are present. There is a very good chance of seeing rhino. White rhino, are easiest to spot as they graze on the open plains, but the park is one of Kenya’s most successful sanctuaries for black rhino, which like to keep hidden in the thickets.

Afternoon exit Nairobi National Park for back to your Hotel and an evening training session in Nairobi  for  Captains run.

Day 6: Rugby tours in Africa Veterans Fixture

Breakfast in the morning and depending on team plan you can hit a modern gym this morning for strength & conditioning training and back to the hotel for relaxation and team preps.

Refuel with a healthy lunch before making your way to Fixture 2 at Kaserani stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kasarani, Kenya. Built in 1987 for the All-Africa Games held in Nairobi. The facilities include a 60,000-seat stadium. With a running track and a pitch used for football and rugby union, a competition size swimming pool and an indoor arena.  The fixture will be decided based on level of competition required for the visiting team. And will be planned together with the Kenya Rugby Union

After the Fixture in the early evening head back to the Hotel for refreshment. As you prepare for a team dinner and drinks with some of the players and officials from the other team. Good time for team bonding as you enjoy as a group after the fixture. At the dinner you may choose to have team presentations and conclusions for the tour.

Day 7: Transfer to the Airport.

Depending on the flight, time will have time to relax and reflect on how the tour has been as you prepare to say goodbye to Kenya. The bus will be ready to drive to the Airport to catch your flight.
