The Uganda Rugby Union is the governing body for Rugby union in Uganda. It was established in 1959 and is responsible for organising local competitions and the Rugby Cranes national representative team. The URU is a member of both World Rugby and Rugby Africa.

Kenya Rugby Union is the governing body for rugby union in Kenya. It was founded in 1970 and is affiliated to Rugby Africa and the international governing body World Rugby. KRU is responsible for the running of the Kenya national rugby union team, domestic club and school rugby competitions

Run Kapchorwa is a program established in Kapchorwa with a purpose of Promoting Running and Adventure Sports Tourism on. Njia African adventure are friends with Run Kapchorwa and at the same time work as their transport service provider.   Running Adventures and Altitude Training in Uganda’s ‘Land of Champions’ Over the years we have transported over 100 elite runners from Belgium, United Kingdom to run on the foot prints of previous world champions and other runners that would wish to get a feel of running.

Hippos Rugby Club is a Community based Organization based in the Capital Adventure capital of East Africa, Jinja Uganda. the club is among the only core 10 clubs for rugby Premiership in Uganda from 2013. Njia African Adventures has part of its startup story with this largely dominated youth club as our Director is one of club Pioneers. And a head coach to this club. In 2013 a lot of equipment from our Welsh and Irish friends supported this club through Connect To Africa in growing grassroots rugby programs through donating equipment and coaching education to the junior coaches. We believe that as we grow we will grow together with this fast growing club and other Rugby Clubs in Uganda through our unique Rugby tours in Uganda.

Njia is proud member of Uganda Tourism Board with License no. UTB/RTT/TO/2023/100809. Uganda Tourist Board (UTB) is a statutory organization established by the Uganda Tourist Board Statute 1994. The Board’s mandate is to promote and popularize Uganda as a viable holiday destination both locally and internationally in order to:

  1. Increase the contribution of tourism earnings and GDP
  2. Improve Uganda’s competitiveness as an international tourism destination
  3. Increase Uganda’s share of Africa’s and World tourism market.
  4. Quality assurance through licensing of tour operators

We are members to the Association of Uganda Tour operators. The Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO) is Uganda’s leading tourism trade association, representing the interests of the country’s leading Tour service providers.
