3 Days Ssese Island Getaway Trip
This 3 Days Ssese Island Getaway Trip tour takes you to one of the 84 stunning islands on Uganda’s Lake Victoria. The island boasts incredible natural scenery; think white sandy beaches, clear blue waters and tropical forests. On this tour, enjoy ample leisure time by the lakeside catching a tan, swimming and taking in the beauty of the island. Go quard biking at the island, explore Ssese Island night Life, take part in a nature walk and and see a variety of fascinating monkeys. Also hope on a relaxing boat tour where you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with local fishermen and learn all about the fishing trade in this area. In the evenings, relax by the campfire, listening to the sounds of the lake and sipping on a delicious drink. You’re guaranteed to come home refreshed and renewed.
Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Ssese
Ferry/Campfire and Nightlife
Your adventure begins! One of our friendly tour guides will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Nakiwogo landing site. Check-in time is 1pm to board the 2pm ferry to Ssese Island. A quick 3-hour journey gets you to Lutoboka landing site.
Dinner awaits you at the Pearl Beach Resort, where you will be staying for the next two nights. This beautiful resort boasts a 3km private beach; a popular hangout for most of the guests. The resort also offers a beach bar where a candle-lit dinner can be set for couples on their honeymoon. Relax by the campfire after dinner and wind down after a wonderful first day.
Overnight at Pearl Beach Resort
Day 2: Qaurd Biking, boat Cruise and Nanziri water Falls
Beach, swimming and Quad Biking – Am
Begin your beautiful day with sumptuous breakfast arranged at the Resort as you watch the sun rise. You will then go for a Quad Bike adventure experience as a group. The island Guide will take you to visit all the important places around the island while sharing information about the history and cultural significance of each spot.
Head back to the Resort for Lunch
Boat Cruise & Nanziri Waterfalls – PM
After Lunch set off from the Resort at 1pm for a 1 Hr boat cruise to Bukasa Island. These mysterious waterfalls are found close to Wanema’s shrine and the sacred Nanziri cave because they are considered sacred areas by the locals, you are required to remove your shoes and talk in very low tones.
After visiting the waterfalls you will head back to the Resort by 5pm. A perfect time to play lost of beach games and lots of team bonding activities as the rest enjoy the beautiful chill at the resort swimming pool and Dinner Onwards.
Ssese Island Night Life – Night
After Dinner will continue and wind the day by taking the group to Bugala’s number one party center ‘Club Pear
Day 3: Ssese Island to Equator
Ferry Transfer to Entebbe
After a final breakfast at the resort, transfer to Lutoboka in time to board the ferry to Nakiwogo landing site. Our guide will be waiting for you, to take you to Entebbe International Airport or to drive you back to your hotel in Kampala.
Entebbe to Picturesque Equator Island
Lunch at the mainland and after head for a short boat trip to Lwagi for a unique Equator experience.
On this picturesque island, you will enjoy a wide view of the lake, the Entebbe Airport runway and the other surrounding islandsas you enjoy the atmosphere and pleasantly refreshing breeze. Here you will be able to spot a tree that has incredibly grown on the island’s rocky surface.
You will have photo moments and after that we set back to the mainland and back to Kampala.
