Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Embarking on an exhilarating journey through Uganda’s lush landscapes, our Gorilla Safari commences at Entebbe International Airport. Upon your arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted by our experienced Njia Driver who will escort you to your accommodation for a well-deserved rest. Take advantage of the serene surroundings by indulging in leisurely activities such as lounging by the beach or taking a refreshing dip in the swimming pool at Entebbe. Anticipation builds for the exciting adventures awaiting you tomorrow.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale/Afternoon cycling to Kibale National Park, Lodge

Following a hearty breakfast, we set off for Kibale Forest National Park, situated in the picturesque western region of Uganda. Renowned for its diverse array of primates, including the iconic chimpanzees, Kibale National Park stands as a beacon for wildlife enthusiasts and primate trekking aficionados. Arriving around midday in Fort Portal, we’ll pause for a satisfying lunch. Afterward, we’ll embark on an invigorating hour-long bicycle exploration through the untamed wilderness, arriving at our lodge where you can unwind and enjoy a tranquil evening amidst nature’s embrace.

 

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and Cyclint to Bigodi wetland

After indulging in an early breakfast at the lodge, your knowledgeable guide from Njia African Adventure will accompany you to the park headquarters for a comprehensive briefing on the essential guidelines for interacting with chimpanzees. Following this, we embark on an exciting chimpanzee tracking expedition through the verdant forest. Along the trek, keep your eyes peeled for various primate species and a plethora of bird species inhabiting the area.

Once in the presence of the chimpanzees, you’ll have the remarkable opportunity to observe their fascinating behaviors such as feeding, nesting, and playful antics. Along the way, we’ll have the opportunity. To make stopovers at the Equator crossing point, adding a unique touch to our adventure.

The drive from Lake Mburo National Park to Kampala typically spans 5-6 hours, allowing us to traverse through stunning landscapes and rural communities. Take delight in the scenic vistas as we progress towards our next destination.

Upon arrival in Kampala, prepare to immerse yourself in the bustling energy of this dynamic city. Finally explore its lively streets, bustling markets, and cultural attractions, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere before finally retiring to Entebbe for a well-deserved overnight stay.

 

Day 12: Explore Entebbe and Departure

After enjoying a hearty breakfast in the morning, seize the opportunity to embark on a cycling adventure in Entebbe. Depending on your remaining energy levels. This excursion may include stopovers at the renowned Entebbe Botanical Gardens. Offering a serene and captivating experience amidst lush greenery and vibrant flora.
